How I Slip Into The Diamond Life

Hellooooooo. This is my first writing about my fangirl life. I’m so excited to tell about it to everyone. I’m newbie in writing things so please forgive me if I made any typos. This is a real story about my fangirl life. Happy reading everyone! ^^

First of all… I say about ‘diamond life’ in the title. Diamond life? Hmm… What is the diamond life? Okay, I will tell about it. What I mean of the diamond life in here is being a Carat. Carat is one of Korean fandom. Carat is fandom for Korean boygroup name Seventeen. Seventeen debuted in 2015 with ‘Adore U’ song. They consist of 13 boys and divided into 3 units (Vocal, Performance, Hiphop). How it be ‘diamond life’ for carat? Diamond life is a lyric from their song named ‘Shining diamond’. I can relate how the fandom named carat, that’s because Seventeen is Shining Diamond for Carat.

Okay, now I want to tell how I know them and decided to be a part of Carat Family. That was my first holiday as a first year student college. In that time, I was boring because I got 3 (three) months holiday and mostly spent my time at home. Once a day, my cousin was called me by phone. She just tell me that she saw a boygroup at MAMA 2015 videos. She said that the boygroup named Seventeen. She said that they looks really cool with many members. I’m curious after she said about it and I decide to watch the videos too. The first song that I heard from Seventeen is “Mansae”. My first impression when I saw them is “Wow…there are so many members and their song is really fun”. Just that until I saw Jun –one of the member, and suddenly I said “omg he looks so good, so handsome”. After that, I’m really curious about Seventeen.

Same with my cousin, she often call me by phone just to talk about Seventeen. They really consist of 13 members. That’s make me confuse how to know them one by one. And I’m searching for Mansae videos, then I watch their stage performance. Oh I feel grateful they wear a costume with their name. I often watch the videos –almost every day, until I know them one by one. Around one week…. finally  I know their name hahahaha :D

I almost watch their videos every day and feel addicted to their song omg ><. Not long after that, I got a news that they will come to Indonesia for Fanmeeting. Unfortunately, I can’t attend to join the fanmeeting because I don’t have enough money huhu TT

I just an ordinary fangirl, I like to watch them and updating about them from internet and their SNS. Little by little I feel like I really love them. They’re so talented and they are well-known as a self-producing boygroup. Until I heard a news –again that they will hold a Concert Tour and Indonesia included in the list. They start to concert in July 2017 and visiting Indonesia at 23^rd September. Oh my god, I should save my money if I want to attend the concert ><. Fortunately, I have enough money when ticketing in Indonesia and I really attended the Diamond Edge concert at September 23^rd. I’m sooooooo happy and feel so grateful now. After I watch them in real, I feel like…. I’m so in love with them and I dedicated myself as a Carat. They really motivated me in everythingJ Does it sound excessive?? But it’s real for me J

At 6^th November 2017, they have a comeback with ‘Clap’ as a title song. I managed to buy their album. I still wait for the album until arrived at home. Maybe I will tell about it later because I’m so excited. And I want to tell about my first experience attended a concert. I will tell about it later after my exam have done. So yeah, that’s my obscure story in the  midle of my exams week ahahah. Here is the music video ^^
